Are you ready to dive into an exciting opportunity? We're on the lookout for enthusiastic lifeguards to join our team during school holiday periods throughout the year. Whether you come with a lifeguard qualification or are eager to earn one, we’ve got you covered!

If you can pass the Butlins swim test, we will sponsor your NPLQ course, equipping you with all the training you need to kickstart your lifeguarding career.

As a lifeguard at Splash Waterworld, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a fun and safe experience in our pools and on the flumes. Safety is our top priority, so we’re looking for individuals with excellent attention to detail and a warm, engaging approach to customer service. You’ll also lead and support poolside activities, creating unforgettable moments for our guests.

Compensation

£12.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all guests in and around the pool area.
• Engage with guests of all ages, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Lead and support poolside activities, enhancing the guest experience.
• Maintain a vigilant watch over pool activities, demonstrating a commitment to safety.

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly and confident individuals who enjoy interacting with guests.
• Strong swimmers with a keen eye for detail.
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual team players who can also work independently.
• Availability to work across our 7-day-a-week operation.

Swim Test Requirement

If selected, you’ll be invited to complete a Butlin’s swim test, which includes:

• Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds
• Treading water
• Surface diving
• Climbing out of the pool unaided
