Your Rewarding Role
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £40,178, with potential on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Opt for guaranteed overtime to boost your earnings, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- Structured Hours: Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Daily Experience
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, allowing you to:
- Conduct routine servicing
- Utilize advanced mobile diagnostics
- Perform in-depth repairs
- Provide member advice and recommendations
- Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
From day one, you’ll have everything you need: a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set, and advanced diagnostics. You’ll use your technical skills to help our members get back on the road safely and confidently.
What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
