Machine Operatives

The Role:

Our well established client in South Luffenham is currently looking for manufacturing staff to be trained to run their thermoforming & CNC machines. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills as full training will be given.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and monitor production - training will be provided
• Loading and unloading of machines

• Maintaining machinery.

• Performing quality checks to minimise non-conformance

Person Specification:

• Previous experience within an engineering environment advantageous but not essential
• Ability to operate machinery
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work on own or as part of a team
• Ability to get to South Luffenham
• Comply with health and safety procedures and policies to ensure the role is carried out without risk to self and others.

Hours and Pay:

• 12.00/hr inc shift premium

• Alternate shifts - week 1 - 6am to 2pm M-F week 2 - 1.45pm to 11.45pm M-W and Thursday 1.45pm to 11.15pm No Friday working (37.5 hr week)

• Own transport essential due to location - on site parking available
• Overtime available
