York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the PACS Team as PACS Support Officer.

We are looking for a team player who can interact with all members of staff within the multidisciplinary team. You will be a well organised and flexible individual, with an eagerness to learn all aspects of supporting the radiology systems.

A sense of humour is essential, with the ability to remain calm in an extremely busy environment. Working in a methodical and structured way at all times, with the ability to think independently and problem solve is essential.

The technological remit of the department continues to expand, and therefore the candidate would need to be open to continued learning of new systems and processes to meet the technology needs of the diagnostic imaging services.

DBS Checks
Please be aware that all new employees starting work with us will be charged for the cost of their DBS check if it is required for the role. The cost will be deducted from your salary either in 1 payment or over a six month period once you start employment. By applying you are agreeing to this undertaking. If you are successful you will be asked to confirm if you wish to pay in one amount or in instalments. Effective 1st October 2019 the charges are currently £27.20 for a standard check and £44.20 for an enhanced check. The level of check will be determined by the post you are applying for.
