Job Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical support to professional officers
• Assist with the delivery of local authority regulatory services
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support service areas such as licensing, environmental health, or housing
• Respond to internal and external enquiries in a professional manner
• Ensure compliance with relevant procedures and legislation
• Carry out general clerical duties as required

• Experience in providing administrative or technical support within a local authority or similar environment
• Understanding of regulatory or enforcement services
• Knowledge of relevant legislation in at least one of the following areas:
• Licensing
• Food Safety
• Private Sector Housing
• Trading Standards
• Noise and Nuisance
• Air Quality
• Pest Control
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage records accurately and maintain confidentiality
• Eligibility to work in the UK

• Previous experience working within a council or public sector organisation
• Familiarity with compliance processes and documentation requirements
• Experience handling customer or public enquiries
