Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Maths lessons to students of various age groups and abilities
• Plan and prepare well-structured lessons in accordance with the curriculum and school policies
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes active learning and student engagement
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and activities
• Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to facilitate a supportive learning environment
• Keep up to date with educational developments and actively seek professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in Maths
• Proven experience teaching Maths at the primary or secondary level
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
• Dedication to promoting a positive learning experience for all students
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
