The Role
As our new SEN Class Teacher, you will:
- Teach a small, bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant.
- Plan, prepare, and present lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of your students.
- Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and professionals to maintain high educational standards.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and their families.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning.
- Create and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our core values.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Proven experience in SEN teaching.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success.
All successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check, with costs covered by Polaris Community.
