Your Rewarding Role
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £45,378 (including London Weighting Allowance, if applicable) and earn up to £57,000 with on-target earnings.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your base salary to £44,385 with guaranteed overtime options, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- Structured Work Hours: Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and waiting for you. You’ll carry out:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
- Vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and advanced diagnostics at your disposal, you’ll have everything you need to deliver quality work and get people moving safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
