Your Role Awaits
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £40,178, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your base salary to £44,385 with guaranteed overtime options.
- Structured Work Hours: Work 40 hours a week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
What to Expect
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and the member is expecting you. You’ll carry out:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
- Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
With no emergency callouts or unpredictable shift patterns, you’ll have the time, tools, and support to deliver quality work.

What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
