Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge at Butlin's? The Supervisor Plus role is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our operational standards are top-notch and that our guests have an unforgettable experience.
In this hands-on position, you'll report directly to the Manager and be responsible for executing daily operational plans. Your leadership will guide the team to meet fluctuating guest demands while maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional service.
Your primary focus will be on accommodation during our busy intake days on Monday and Friday, with flexibility to support other departments throughout the week. This role is not just about overseeing tasks; it's about creating an amazing experience for our guests!
Your Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Be the driving force behind your team's effectiveness, ensuring all key tasks and objectives are met.
- Coaching & Development: Mentor your team to achieve targets, such as retail upselling and promotions.
- Audit Responsibility: Oversee CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits as needed.
- Guest Experience: Monitor guest feedback and take action to enhance their experience.
- Communication Champion: Ensure clear communication between management and your team, executing plans effectively.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong connections across the resort and with central support teams.
- People Support: Assist with onboarding and performance management throughout the employee lifecycle.

Buffets
- Food Safety Champion: Lead by example in maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
- Welcoming Environment: Ensure guests receive a friendly and personalized welcome.
- Quality Control: Oversee food replenishment and presentation to keep the buffet appealing.
- Team Development: Provide on-the-job coaching to enhance team performance.
Bars & Shops
- Sales Driving: Maximize revenue through effective upselling and guest engagement.
- Queue Management: Proactively adjust team roles to minimize wait times.
- Stock Control: Maintain strong stock practices to ensure availability without overstocking.
Restaurants & QSRs
- Upselling: Coach the team to recommend starters and desserts to enhance guest experience.
- Checkbacks: Ensure timely check-ins with guests to confirm satisfaction.
- Celebrating Success: Recognize and share team achievements to foster a positive culture.
Splash Pool
- Pool Operations: Supervise daily operations and ensure safety compliance.
- Team Leadership: Guide and support lifeguards and pool staff.
- Guest Experience: Create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Sports & Activities
- Activity Delivery: Lead engaging sports and activities for guests of all ages.
- Team Supervision: Coach and allocate tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with safety procedures.
Your Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills with a knack for coaching and supporting your team.
- Attention to detail for audit and observation activities.
- Experience in guest-facing roles, adept at handling queries and complaints.
- Proven track record in driving sales and promotions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
