Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Routine servicing of vehicles
- Advanced diagnostics using cutting-edge mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Member advice based on thorough inspections
- Vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
Your day will start with a clear digital schedule, allowing you to focus on delivering quality work without the unpredictability of emergency callouts. You’ll be out on the road in your local area, covering places like Chesterfield, Mansfield, and Alfreton.

What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
