Why Choose Us?

At the Integrated Services Programme (ISP), we’ve been making a difference since 1987. Founded by a passionate group of foster parents, we are proud to be the UK’s first independent foster care agency. With over 30 years of experience, we continue to put children at the heart of everything we do.

Our mission is simple: to provide looked-after children, especially those with challenging beginnings, the specialist support they need. We surround them with a comprehensive range of services, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all working together to create a nurturing environment. This is what we call our therapeutic approach to fostering, and we’re proud to have pioneered it.

What We Offer

  • £3,000 Car Allowance
  • 30 days' annual leave, increasing to 35 days with length of service + bank holidays
  • Company Pension
  • Life Assurance x2
  • Employee Discount Scheme
  • Medical Cash Plan

Your Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to supporting foster parents. Your role will be pivotal in promoting meaningful supervision of placements through a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload, ensuring high-quality supervision.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions, enabling and monitoring foster parents' practices while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessment, planning, review, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
  • A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes quality assurance and training roles for both prospective and current foster parents. Strong report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines are essential.
