• Unqualified: £33,349.58 (including sleep-in shifts)
• Qualified (Level 3/4): Up to £35,935.36 (including sleep-in shifts)

Hours: Shift pattern on rotation

We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our vibrant team in Southampton. Here, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized care packages that cater to the unique needs of each child and young adult. Our supportive and collaborative team values your individuality and is committed to your professional growth.

Your Role: Main Duties and Requirements

• Experience working with children and young people, with a solid understanding of the challenges they face.
• Ability to work a 3-week rolling rota, including 7 × 24-hour shifts (09:00-09:30 the following day) with sleep-ins, and enjoy 1 weekend off every 3 weeks.
• Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of our young people.
• Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with our young individuals.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team, accepting direction and guidance.
• Encourage the development of individual interests and talents of our young people.
• Hold or be willing to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Possess a full UK driving license and car for travel purposes.
• Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills.
• Show a willingness to learn and grow.
• Be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which we will cover.
• Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus!
