The Role
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of a small, bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant. Your responsibilities will include:
- Motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative lesson presentations.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a high standard of education.
- Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance pupil engagement and learning.
- Creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
- Adhering to all school policies and procedures in line with our core values.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Proven experience in SEN teaching.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.
All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by Polaris Community.
