The Role
As an SEN Class Teacher, you will teach a small, bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant. Your mission will be to plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Inspiring pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative lesson presentations.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to maintain high educational standards.
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing regular feedback to all stakeholders.
- Utilizing diverse teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning.
- Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating learning environment for all students.
- Adhering to all school policies and procedures in alignment with our core values.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Proven experience in SEN teaching.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.
All successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check, with costs covered by Polaris Community.
