Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge at Butlin's? The Supervisor Plus role is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you’ll be the driving force behind our operational success, ensuring high standards and compliance across the department.

In this hands-on position, you’ll report directly to the Manager and play a crucial role in fulfilling daily operational plans. Your mission? To ensure that tasks and objectives are met while managing fluctuating guest demands and maintaining an exceptional guest experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Be the operational leader, guiding your team to effectively tackle key tasks and objectives.
  • Coach your team to achieve departmental targets, such as retail upselling.
  • Conduct CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits as needed.
  • Drive add-on sales and promotions to enhance guest experiences.
  • Ensure all stock and propositions are readily available for guests.
  • Monitor and maintain a quality guest experience in line with brand guidelines.
  • Capture and act on guest feedback to continuously improve our services.
  • Champion Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours.
  • Foster strong communication within your area, ensuring effective execution of plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the resort and with central support teams.
  • Support the department’s people tasks, from onboarding to performance management.

Role Details

The Supervisor Plus will primarily focus on accommodation on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility to support other departments throughout the week. Your leadership will ensure that our guests receive an amazing experience every day!

Key Focus Areas

1. Food Safety Champion

  • Lead by example in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Ensure all team members follow correct procedures, including temperature checks and allergen management.
  • Promote a culture where food safety is everyone’s responsibility.

2. Creating a Warm, Welcoming Dining Experience

  • Ensure guests are greeted with a friendly and personalized welcome.
  • Maintain a comfortable and relaxed environment for families.
  • Resolve guest queries promptly and professionally.

3. Coaching & Developing the Team

  • Provide on-shift coaching to help team members build confidence and capability.
  • Support training of new starters to ensure they understand service standards.
  • Encourage a positive team culture where everyone feels valued.

About You

  • Excellent leadership skills with a knack for coaching and supporting your team.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in audit and observation activities.
  • Experience in guest-facing roles, adept at handling queries and complaints.
  • Proven ability to generate new opportunities through sales and promotions.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading teams to success.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
