Salary:
- Unqualified: Base salary of £27,866.34, earning up to £33,447.67 with sleep-in shifts
- Qualified: Base salary of £29,181.57, earning up to £34,762.90 with sleep-in shifts

Your Role
As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in our children’s residential home. Your mission? To support young people with challenging behaviors while fostering an environment of flexibility, resilience, and honesty. You’ll be dedicated to delivering high-quality care that empowers each young person to achieve positive outcomes.
This is a permanent position with fantastic career prospects and comprehensive training within a growing organization. You’ll work an average of 38 hours per week on a 2 days on/4 days off shift pattern, including 2 sleep-ins. Plus, enjoy generous allowances for bank holidays, overtime, and a performance-related bonus!
Essential Skills
- Full manual driving license
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear, organized records
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude
- Competence in completing daily records to statutory and policy standards
- Empathetic, patient, and supportive nature
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A knack for engaging, motivating, and encouraging young people
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with young people
- Level 3 Children & Young People qualification, or a willingness to work towards it (fully funded)
