Why Work With Us?

At the Integrated Services Programme (ISP), we’re not just another agency; we’re a community dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and foster parents. Established in 1987 by a passionate group of foster parents, we are proud to be the UK's first independent foster care agency, bringing over 30 years of experience to the table.

Our mission is simple: to provide specialized support to looked-after children, ensuring they receive the care and guidance they need to thrive. We believe in a therapeutic approach to fostering, surrounding our children and foster parents with a network of professionals, including social workers, teachers, and therapists, who are there to help every step of the way.

What We Offer

  • £3,000 Car Allowance
  • 30 days' annual leave, increasing to 35 days with length of service + bank holidays
  • Company Pension
  • Life Assurance x2
  • Employee Discount Scheme
  • Medical Cash Plan

Your Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to fostering. You will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care for children. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
  • Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
  • A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that requires excellent report writing skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines. You will also need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.

Join Us in Making a Difference!

ISP is an equal opportunities employer and encourages applications from all qualified candidates. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and we expect all staff to share this commitment.

If you’re ready to take on this fulfilling challenge and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!
