Unqualified: Base salary of £27,866.34, with potential earnings up to £33,447.67 including sleep-in shifts.
Qualified: Base salary of £29,181.57, with potential earnings up to £34,762.90 including sleep-in shifts.

Your Role
As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be based in one of our children's residential homes, where you’ll play a crucial role in supporting young people with challenging behaviors. This position requires flexibility, resilience, honesty, and strong organizational skills. Your commitment to delivering high-quality care will help each young person achieve positive outcomes.
This is a permanent role with fantastic career prospects and comprehensive training within a growing organization. You’ll work an average of 38 hours per week on a 2 days on/4 days off shift pattern, including 2 sleep-ins. Plus, enjoy generous allowances for bank holidays, overtime, and a performance-related bonus!
Essential Skills
- Full manual driving license
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear, organized records
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude
- Capability to complete daily records to statutory and policy standards
- Empathetic, patient, and supportive nature
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to engage, motivate, and encourage young people
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with young people
- Level 3 Children & Young People qualification, or a willingness to work towards it (fully funded)
