Contract: Full time, term time only

About Our School

With class sizes capped at 6 pupils, each classroom is supported by a qualified teacher and up to 2 teaching assistants. We cater to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as various diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and more. This is your chance to make a real impact in the lives of our pupils while enhancing your own teaching skills in a rewarding environment.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Support the class team in facilitating learning and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Monitor student progress and collaborate with staff to meet individual needs.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities and trips.
  • Build positive relationships to enhance learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree-level education
  • Experience teaching GCSE Science at the secondary level
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
  • Strong behavior management skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
