The Role

As an SEN Class Teacher, you will teach a small, bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant. Your mission will be to plan, prepare, and present lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure high educational standards
  • Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing regular feedback
  • Utilizing diverse teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement
  • Creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Adhering to all school policies and procedures in line with our values

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Proven experience in SEN teaching
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success

Please note that the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
