About the Role

As our Registered Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people in the home. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overall accountability for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the child.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations and leading staff practice.
  • Driving continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's standards and the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

You will provide strong leadership, ensuring care is child-centered and focused on achieving the best outcomes. This includes maintaining robust safeguarding systems, effective multi-agency working, and ensuring that each child's individual needs are understood and met consistently.

About You

We are looking for a qualified and experienced leader who can demonstrate:

  • A Leadership and Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one), along with NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • Strong childcare and safeguarding knowledge, including relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in managing staff teams, with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead with confidence and resilience.
  • A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours per week. You will manage your own rota and participate in the on-call rota.
