Your Role

As our new SEN Class Teacher, you will have the rewarding responsibility of teaching a small, bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant. Your mission will be to plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspiring and motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to uphold high educational standards.
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
  • Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning.
  • Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
  • Adhering to all school policies and procedures in alignment with our core values.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in SEN teaching.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.

Please note that the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
