We are looking for enthusiastic Residential Support Workers to join our team in Southampton!

About Us

Our mission is to create a stable and nurturing environment for young people who have experienced adverse childhood experiences. We focus on providing high levels of support and guidance, helping them develop essential skills for a successful transition to independence and adulthood.

Your Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide flexible and individualized care packages for our children and young adults.
  • Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of our young people.
  • Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
  • Encourage the development of individual interests.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working with children and young people, with an understanding of the challenges they face.
  • The ability to work a 3-week rolling rota, including 7 × 24-hour shifts (09:00-09:30 the following day) with sleep-ins, and 1 weekend off every 3 weeks.
  • A willingness to pursue a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • A commitment to learning and teamwork.
  • A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (which we will cover).

Desirable Experience

Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus!
