Salary: £28,000 - £39,520

Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Your Role

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:

  • Teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant.
  • Plan, prepare, and present lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
  • Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure high educational standards.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning.
  • Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Successful experience in SEN teaching.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success.

As part of our commitment to safeguarding, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
