Salary: £28,000 - £39,520

Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

The Role

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. You will teach a small, bespoke class of up to 6 students, supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative lesson presentations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a high standard of education.
  • Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance pupil engagement and learning.
  • Creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
  • Adhering to all school policies and procedures in line with our core values.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Successful experience in SEN teaching.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
