Your Role
As a Referrals Officer, you will:
- Manage referrals from local authorities, ensuring placements are matched according to children's needs.
- Utilize your initiative to find creative solutions for foster placement requests.
- Serve as the first point of contact between local authorities, foster families, and social workers.
- Develop positive relationships through effective communication, both written and face-to-face.
What We’re Looking For
We seek someone who is:
- Friendly with a big personality and excellent communication skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong administrative abilities.
- Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.
- Previous experience in children's services is a plus, but not essential.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, office-based position in Bridgend, covering the Cymru South area. We support a hybrid working model, offering flexibility to work from home.
