Salary: Base salary of £52,000, with potential earnings up to £58,600 through bonuses

We are on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our new solo children's home in London. If you are a confident leader with 2-3 years of management experience and a passion for supporting young people aged 9-17 with complex emotional and behavioral needs, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people in the home. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overall accountability for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the child
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations and leading staff practice
  • Driving continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's standards and regulations
  • Maintaining robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency working
  • Supervising and mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, and delivering care-focused training

About You

We are looking for a qualified and experienced leader who can demonstrate:

  • A Leadership and Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People
  • Strong childcare and safeguarding knowledge, including relevant legislation and regulations
  • Experience in managing staff teams with excellent communication skills
  • A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people

This is a full-time role, and you will manage your own rota while participating in the on-call rota.
