As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll be part of our fast-growing Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division, bringing structured repair and servicing directly to our members’ driveways and workplaces.
Your Rewarding Role Awaits
With a competitive base salary of £40,170 and the potential to earn up to £52,000 through bonuses and overtime, your hard work will truly pay off. Enjoy:
- Guaranteed Overtime: After your first month, opt to work extra rest days at £30 per hour. Just one extra day a month could earn you an additional £3,000 a year!
- Flexible Hours: Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
- Locations: Opportunities available in Bournemouth, Bridgwater, Bristol, Exeter, Newton Abbot, Southampton, Taunton, and Torquay.

Your day will start with a clear digital schedule, allowing you to focus on:
- Routine servicing
- Advanced diagnostics using cutting-edge mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing members with advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With no emergency callouts or unpredictable shifts, you’ll have the time and tools to deliver quality work, ensuring our members are back on the road safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
