Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children aged 9-17 with complex emotional and behavioral needs.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Lead and mentor staff, fostering a child-centered approach to care.
- Maintain robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency working.
- Drive continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's ethos and standards.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced leader who can demonstrate:
- A Leadership and Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
- Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding, including relevant legislation and regulations.
- Experience in managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
- A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
Working Conditions
This is a 40-hour per week role, where you will manage your own rota and participate in the on-call rota. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a safe and stable environment for our children.

- Competitive base salary of £52,000, with potential earnings up to £58,600 through bonuses.
- 32 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year for the first three years.

- Ofsted performance bonuses: £3,000 for an Outstanding judgement and £1,500 for a Good judgement.
- Full occupancy bonus of £300 per month.
