Why Choose Us?

At Easthorpe School, we are more than just an educational institution; we are a nurturing community dedicated to empowering children and young people. Opened in November 2022, our independent specialist provision in the East Midlands is designed for students living with families, foster carers, or in residential homes. As we expand to support our growing Lower School (ages 7-13), we invite you to be part of this exciting journey!

With class sizes capped at 6 pupils, each classroom is supported by a qualified teacher and up to 2 teaching assistants. We cater to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as various diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and more. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to make a real impact while enhancing your own professional skills in a rewarding environment.

  • Support the class team in facilitating learning and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Monitor student progress and collaborate with staff to meet individual needs.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities and trips.
  • Build positive relationships to support learning outcomes.

  • The chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives
  • A supportive and inclusive team environment

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by Easthorpe School. We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer, committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All staff are expected to share this commitment.
