About the Role

Are you an experienced Chef ready to take your culinary skills to the next level? Join our vibrant Buffets team at Butlin’s Skegness! We’re seeking passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and take pride in delivering consistently high-quality food.

As a key player in our buffet restaurants, you’ll lead and develop a talented team, working closely with the Junior Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth daily operations. Your focus will be on:

  • Maintaining efficiency and high standards
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety policies
  • Creating a clean and organized workstation

You'll also mentor and support our Commis Chefs, helping them grow while keeping the kitchen running smoothly and safely.

This is a full-time, permanent role, offering 35 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends. Shifts are:

  • Breakfast: 4am – 12pm
  • Dinner: 11am – 7:30pm

Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of our business. For those over 18 relocating to the area, live-in accommodation may be available (subject to DBS).

About You

We’re on the lookout for chefs with proven experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen. This role is not suitable for beginners or those without professional kitchen experience.

You should be:

  • Hardworking and reliable
  • Committed to high standards
  • Passionate about continuous improvement

Understanding the impact of great food and teamwork on guest experiences is crucial. Bring your energy and enthusiasm to help your team shine!

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Level 3 Food Safety qualification
  • Confidence in leading others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage margins and control costs
  • Excellent hygiene, health, and safety practices

Our chefs are vital to keeping guests returning to Butlin’s, so we’re looking for someone who is not only skilled but also fun, team-spirited, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for every guest, every time.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our cleaning team, you’ll add that extra sparkle to our guests' holidays by keeping our resort clean, tidy, and pristine. If you’re ready to go the extra mile for our team and guests, we’d love to welcome you aboard!

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Can clean our main venues and toilets using electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment (full training provided)
  • Are comfortable handling cleaning chemicals (full training provided)
  • Can assist with external road cleaning, including emptying general waste and recycling bins
  • Can move furniture to accommodate various activities within venues
  • Can clean and disinfect toilets and changing rooms

Normal working hours are:

  • Evening shift: 5pm - 2am

Please note that due to lone working and the hours required for the role, applicants must be over 18 to apply. Start and finish times may vary depending on the break type.
