Papa Johns Kitchen Manager

Are you ready to take the lead in a vibrant kitchen environment? We’re on the lookout for a Kitchen Manager to join our Restaurant & Quick Serve department in Bognor Regis, overseeing our bustling Papa John's 200-seater restaurant.

In this role, you will report to the Senior Kitchen Manager and play a crucial part in running the kitchen while leading a dynamic team of up to 10 members per shift. Our mission is to make our guests smile, and you will ensure this by keeping them at the heart of every operational decision.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team for exceptional service.
• Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
• Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.

This role is based on 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days within a 7-day week. Expect a variety of shifts between 7am - 3am, depending on the restaurant's opening hours.

We’re seeking individuals with experience in a similar kitchen role, but we’re also excited to hear from those ready to step up to their next challenge!

You should be:

• Hardworking and determined, with a knack for getting things done.
• Reliable, always looking for better ways to help your team deliver our brand standards.
• Energetic and enthusiastic, bringing a fun-loving spirit to the kitchen.

Additionally, you should have:

• A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
• Confidence in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Experience managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards.
