About The Role
Are you ready to take the lead in a vibrant kitchen environment? We’re on the lookout for a Kitchen Manager to join our Restaurant & Quick Serve department in Bognor Regis, overseeing our bustling Papa John's 200-seater restaurant. Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in running the kitchen and guiding a dynamic team of up to 10 members per shift.

At the heart of our values is the mission to make our guests smile, and you’ll ensure this happens consistently by keeping guests at the center of all operational decisions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team.
• Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
• Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.

Typical Working Hours

This role is structured around 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days with a variety of shifts between 7am - 3am, depending on the restaurant's opening hours.

About You

We’re seeking individuals with experience in a similar kitchen role, but we’re also excited to hear from those ready to step up to their next challenge!

You should be:

• Hardworking and determined, with a knack for getting things done.
• Energetic and enthusiastic, bringing a fun-loving spirit to the team.
• Confident in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

A Level 3 Food Safety qualification is essential, and you’ll be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
