As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £40,178, with potential on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Choose to work extra rest days at £30 per hour after your first month, giving you the flexibility to boost your earnings.
- Structured Work Hours: Enjoy a stable 40-hour work week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Daily Adventure
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and waiting for you. You’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Advanced diagnostics using cutting-edge mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
From day one, you’ll be equipped with everything you need: a fully stocked RAC van, fuel card, uniform, complete tool set, and advanced diagnostics. Your technical skills will shine as you help keep our members moving safely and confidently.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
