Your Role at a Glance

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:

• Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £40,178, with potential on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
• Guaranteed Overtime: Choose to work extra days for £30 per hour after your first month, boosting your earnings significantly.
• Structured Work Schedule: Enjoy a consistent 40-hour work week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and only 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Daily Experience

Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and waiting for you. You’ll be responsible for:

• Routine servicing
• Advanced diagnostics
• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
• Providing member advice and recommendations
• Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards

From day one, you’ll have everything you need: a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set, and advanced diagnostics. Your technical skills will shine as you help keep our members moving safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
