Are you ready to dive into an exciting role where fun meets safety? As a Trainee Lifeguard at Butlin’s, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our guests have a fantastic time while staying safe in our Splash Waterworld!
About the Role
Your primary responsibility will be to keep a watchful eye on our guests as they enjoy the pool, rapids, and flumes. Safety is our top priority, so we’re looking for someone with:
- Superb attention to detail to monitor activities effectively.
- A knack for exceptional customer service to engage with guests and enhance their experience.
- The ability to promote and run poolside activities, creating unforgettable moments for everyone.
If you already have a lifeguard qualification, that’s fantastic! If not, don’t worry—we’ll provide you with the training you need to earn your NPLQ certification.
Working Conditions
This full-time role involves:
- Working 35 hours per week with a variety of shifts available.
- Availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays is essential.
- Supporting our Bars department during busy weekends—think of the new skills and friendships you’ll gain!
To join our team, you must be 18 years or older. Our business operates 7 days a week, so flexibility, reliability, and punctuality are key to your success in this role. For those relocating, live-in accommodation may be available!
About You
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who can easily connect with a diverse range of people. You should be:
- A strong swimmer with a keen eye for detail.
- Open to gaining your NPLQ qualification, fully funded by us!
- Comfortable working both as part of a team and independently.
