Position: Senior/Supervising Social Worker
Salary: Up to £40,081.10 per annum (dependent upon experience)

Where You’ll Work:
Our office is based in Bromsgrove, and we offer a flexible hybrid working model. You’ll support our Foster Parents across Birmingham, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas, with occasional travel to the regional head office.

Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting foster parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
- Monitoring the suitability and competence of foster parents to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
- Providing regular supervision to foster parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
- Collaborating with the child's network to identify needs and resources.
- Ensuring compliance with all key documentation for children and foster parents.
- Participating in meetings and providing reports for Commissioning Teams.
- Promoting the participation of children/young people in agency development.
- Participating in an out-of-hours support service on a rota basis.
- Conducting occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What You’ll Need:
- A Social Work qualification.
- Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
- Willingness to travel extensively (including occasional nights away).
- Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
- A full driving licence.
