Salary: Up to £39,500 per annum

Your Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to supporting foster parents. Your role will involve:

  • Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
  • Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making processes.

What You Need

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A solid understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
  • A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.

Working Conditions

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes quality assurance and training responsibilities. You will need to be an excellent report writer and able to meet strict deadlines.
