Your Role

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects meet specifications, stay within budget, and adhere to timelines. You’ll collaborate with talented project teams to deliver safe and efficient electrical engineering solutions. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Ensure all works are procured, planned, and executed safely in accordance with Kier standards and UK law.
  • Review designs with design teams and clients to optimize for efficient and safe construction.
  • Manage robust change control procedures and implement quality control measures.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members within your area of responsibility.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities, supporting mitigation and enhancement strategies.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have a strong technical background in Electrical Services and safety, holding a relevant industry-accredited qualification.
  • You possess CSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimum.
  • You have experience working collaboratively within project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • You can understand budgets and commercial priorities, making sound decisions based on clear criteria.
  • You are committed to promoting wellbeing and fostering an inclusive workplace where diverse thoughts are encouraged.
