Location & Hours
Location: Maple Lodge, Rickmansworth - remote working options available, with occasional office visits required.
Hours: 45 hours per week - we offer flexibility, so just let us know what works for you!
Your Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering multiple electrical aspects across four main subprojects, including:
- Tertiary treatment renewal
- Secondary treatment intensification
- Improvements to inlet works
- Substantial upgrades to electrical infrastructure
Collaborate with our design partners and supply chain to create innovative solutions that meet our client's needs while upholding the highest health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead electrical engineering delivery for multiple schemes, ensuring designs are integrated, clash-free, and compliant with specifications.
- Work closely with our design partner to ensure constructability and CDM compliance, including reviewing and approving design outputs.
- Liaise with the client's engineering and operational staff to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators within budget constraints.
- Manage procurement of plant, materials, and specialist subcontractors, preparing estimates, quotations, and contract documentation.
- Mentor and support graduate electrical engineers, helping to develop the next generation of talent.
What We're Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You have a strong working knowledge of Waste Water Engineering, including key suppliers and process equipment designs.
- You're familiar with MCC build and systems integration, including HV and LV subsystems, DNO, and site power supply requirements.
- You have experience delivering large Waste Water schemes valued over £50 million.
- You can conduct factory acceptance testing and software reviews, including URS and FDS sign-offs.
- You hold a Full driving licence.
