Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a Mobile Premises Operative with Handyperson Skills to become a vital part of our Workplace Solutions Team at the London Fire Brigade in Shadwell.
Location & Hours
Location: Shadwell, London - Company Van Provided
Hours: 40 Hours per week - Permanent Position
Your Responsibilities
As a Mobile Premises Operative, you will play a key role in supporting our team to deliver top-notch maintenance services for the London Fire Brigade Contract. Your daily tasks will include:
- Ensuring delivery of PFI standards for the site, adhering to contractually set standards and Health and Safety regulations.
- Assisting the Facilities Manager in providing an exceptional on-site facilities management service.
- Performing building maintenance duties, including minor repairs and changing low-level lamps.
- Engaging in litter picking, snow clearing, gritting, weeding, portering duties, and cleaning all areas.
- Receiving deliveries and distributing materials to building users efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You have previous experience in a caretaking and/or portering role.
- You can communicate effectively with customers and build strong relationships.
- You can liaise with contractors and monitor their work, updating site records promptly.
- You can manage site security, ensuring all doors and entries are locked and unlocked as needed.
- You hold a Full UK Driver's Licence.
