About the Role
As a Senior Technician in our Design team, you'll play a vital role in delivering complex Civil & Structural Permanent Works services. Your contributions will ensure that our solutions are safe, buildable, and compliant at every stage. You'll collaborate closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, working on high-profile schemes while advancing your career within Kier's nationally recognized in-house consultancy.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Produce BIM models, 3D designs, and 2D CAD drawings using REVIT, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to support tenders and project delivery.
- Check and coordinate building structures information in a quality assurance environment.
- Support bid and tender activities, including feasibility studies and concept design development.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and British/European Standards.
- Contribute to design deliverables including calculations, reports, and risk assessments.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree (construction-related) or HNC/BTEC in Structural/Civil Engineering, Building, or Construction.
- You have extensive experience producing building structures models and drawings compliant with CDM Regulations and relevant standards.
- You possess strong knowledge of reinforced concrete detailing and scheduling to relevant standards.
- You are highly capable in REVIT, Navisworks, and AutoCAD on building structures projects.
- You hold a Full driving license.
- You are passionate about working for a collaborative, trusted, and delivery-focused organization.
