Location: Salford / Speke
Hours: 40 hours per week (some flexibility available)
Your Responsibilities
As a Major Projects Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Lead the electrical design for large, complex construction projects, ensuring sustainable and cost-effective delivery from concept to construction.
- Provide high-quality electrical designs and specifications that meet client requirements.
- Offer high-level technical advice in electrical building services engineering during project design meetings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Promote and implement sustainable design solutions.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges during design and construction phases, proposing innovative solutions.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering, and membership in CIBSE or IET (Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status).
- Experience demonstrating your capability to fulfill the role's responsibilities, with a high level of knowledge in your discipline.
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an easily understandable way for a wider audience.
- Experience in applying quality procedures and document control in engineering design.
- The ability to meet BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements.
