Join Our Team as a Gateperson!
Are you ready to take on a vital role in maintaining site security and ensuring smooth daily operations? We’re looking for a Gateperson to join our Severn Trent Framework, working across Worcester & Droitwich.
Location & Hours
Location: Worcester & Droitwich
Hours: 45 hours per week - Some flexibility on hours is available, just let us know when you speak to us.
Please note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
Your Role
As a Gateperson, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and deliveries, helping to create a safe and welcoming environment while upholding health and safety standards across the site.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage and control access to the site, logging all visitors, deliveries, and subcontractors.
- Check identification, induction status, and PPE compliance before allowing entry.
- Direct vehicle movements safely in and around the site.
- Maintain accurate records of site access, deliveries, and vehicle movements.
- Enforce site health, safety, and security procedures at all times.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You have previous experience working on a construction site or in a secure/site-control role.
- You possess a good awareness of construction site health and safety requirements.
- You have strong communication skills and a professional manner.
- You can remain alert and focused for prolonged periods.
- You hold a CSCS Card (or relevant site qualification).
