Here, you’ll deliver planned, structured repairs directly to our members, whether it’s at their driveway or workplace car park.
Your Rewarding Role
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with potential on-target earnings of up to £57,000.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your earnings with guaranteed overtime options and additional bonus opportunities.
- Structured Hours: Work 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Daily Experience
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
From day one, you’ll be equipped with a fully stocked RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and a complete tool set. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will shine as you help our members get back on the road safely and confidently.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
