Your Role
As an SEN Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Supporting the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
- Reporting on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other staff to ensure every pupil's needs are met.
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
- Building positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and achieve positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Possess a strong educational background at degree level.
- Have previous successful teaching experience.
- Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.
- Demonstrate effective behavior management techniques.
- Show commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
- Be prepared to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
