Your Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to fostering. In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct support to foster parents, ensuring a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions, monitoring practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What You Bring

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications pertaining to children's services.
  • A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.

This position is demanding and requires excellent report writing skills, as well as the ability to meet strict deadlines.
