Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making processes.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Has previous experience in children and families social work.
- Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and publications.
- Holds a full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes both quality assurance and training roles for foster parents. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by ISP.
