Our Integrated Service Programme surrounds children and foster parents with a network of professionals, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all dedicated to fostering a therapeutic approach to care.

Your Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to making a difference. In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct support to foster parents, ensuring a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions, monitoring practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What You Need

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
  • A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.

Working Conditions

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes quality assurance and training responsibilities for both prospective and current foster parents. You will need to be an excellent report writer and adept at meeting strict deadlines.
